PURPOSE:To improve density of a color image, and to enable to form the image which is lessened fog and stain for a short time by heating a heat developing a photosensitive element contg. a photosensitive silver halide, a specific electron donator, a specific coloring matter affording substance and a basic metal compd. difficult to solve in water, thereby obtaining the transferred color image on the fixing element of the coloring matter. CONSTITUTION:The heat developing photosensitive element contains the photosensitive silver halide, the electron donator shown by formula (I), the coloring matter affording substance shown by formula (II) and the basic metal compd. difficult to solve in water. The transferred dye image is formed on the fixing element of the coloring matter mounted on a substrate body by heating the heat developing photosensitive element in a state of closely contacted with the fixing element of the coloring matter having the fixing layer of the coloring matter in the presence of the compd. capable of a complex forming reaction with a metallic ion constituting a basic metal compd. and water, after or simultaneously image-wisely exposing the heat developing photosensitive element. In the formula, M is a group capable of giving hydroxyl group, A1 is an alkyl group, etc., A2 and A3 are each hydrogen atom, etc., EAG is a group capable of receiving an electron from an electron donator, R<1> and R<2> are each a substituent group except hydrogen atom. Time is a group capable of releasing DYE through a following reaction by the trigger action of a cleavage of nitrogen-oxygen single bond in the formula, (t) is 0 or 1. Thus, the color image having an improved shelf life stability is obtd. |
