<p>PURPOSE:To securely display a target signal higher then a clutter level by providing a detection reference storage device for each elevation angle of the beam an antenna and automatically setting the detection reference level of a radar video according to the level of the clutter of the antenna beam. CONSTITUTION:Clutter map data 105A-105N are stored manually in detection reference control memories 3A-3N, and when radar video signals 100 of respective cells of the antenna beam which exceed counting signal detection reference signals 102A-102N of the respective cells of the beam which are outputted from the control memories 3A-3N are inputted to a threshold level comparator 1, only received pulses corresponding to them are outputted to a counter 2 and received pulses of radar videos corresponding to the respective cells of the antenna beam are counted, thereby controlling the signal 102A-102N so that the counted values are a prescribed number. Then, the comparator 1 inputs a radar video signal exceeding a counting signal detection reference level to a target detector 4, whose detection information is inputted to a target format converter 5, so that a target signal 101 suitable to the display device of a radar is outputted.</p> |
