PURPOSE:To obtain a cool air temperature desired by an user by a method wherein a flow passageway, in which suction air does not pass through a humidifying filter, is formed and an opening and closing device, which controls the amount of suction air at an air suction port forming said flow passageway, is provided in the titled fan. CONSTITUTION:When a motor 4 is connected to a power source, vanes 6 are revolved and air is sucked through both of an air suction port 9, which forms a flow passageway passing through a humidifying filter 3, and another air suction port 10, which forms the flow passageway not passing through the humidifying filter. The amount of air passing through the humidifying filter 3 is restricted, therefore, the amount of the humidification of the humidifying filter 3 is reduced whereby cooling air is diluted by the air from the air suction port 10. The degree of this dilution and the amount of humidification may be controlled by an opening and closing device 11, which controls the amount of suction air at the air suction port 10 forming the flow passageway which does not pass through the humidifying filter, whereby the cooling degree of blow-off air may be controlled.
