PURPOSE:To keep the extent of machining pressure constant with a simple device, by installing a discharge valve and a buffer tank between the regulator secondary side of the cylinder attached to a robot arm and the cylinder, and also a tool in a piston tip as well as a teaching device altogether. CONSTITUTION:Air regulated by a regulator 1 is fed to a cylinder 2 through a buffer tank 11, operating a piston 3. As for large profiling on a work, a robot 9 is subjected to teaching, but for small projection 7a, the piston 3 goes up through a grindstone 6. And, air pressure inside the cylinder 2 temporarily goes up. However, the buffer tank 11 absorbs this sudden pressure rise. Tank capacity V1 is set so as to be settled within requisite pressure accuracy in a ratio to capacity V2 of the cylinder 2. That is to say, if V1=20V2 is the case, even if the V1 is varied as much as 50%, a pressure variation inside the cylinder 2 is controllable within the range of 25%. Thus, since machining pressure is kept constant with a simple device, an irregularity part, where teaching fails to do, is machinable without the smallest strain.
