<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a thermal transfer ink which gives a definite printed image even when transferred to a rough paper, by incorporating a vinyl acetate-acrylic copolymer resin emulsion, a wax emulsion, and a coloring agent into a hot-melt ink. CONSTITUTION:A vinyl acetate-acrylic copolymer resin emulsion, a wax emulsion, and a coloring agent are incorporated into a hot-melt ink used for a printer with which recording is obtained by melting a hot-melt ink by a heating means and transferring the ink to a recording paper. Usually, an emulsion of a vinyl acetate-acrylic copolymer resin having an MFT of 50 deg.C or lower, an emulsion of a wax having a melting point of 50-150 deg.C, with the weight ratio of the vinyl acetate-acrylic copolymer resin to the wax, after drying the emulsions, being 1:20-20:1, and a coloring agent comprising a pigment and/or a dye are used for this ink.</p> |
