PREPARATION PROCESS FOR GLUCOSE AND MALTOSE FROM THINED STARCH

摘要

Glucose and maltose are prepd. for use as sweeting agents and nutrients. Thinned starch is hydolysed by ensyme to give an effluent containing 50-80% of sugar. Produced sugar is seperated from the effluentand the remnant is recycled. The raw material contains 30-45% of dried solid starch and the product contains 70-80% of sugar. The enzyme is -amylase or amyloglucosidase. The seperation is performed by using membrane.
