PURPOSE:To make correction of a source program easy by displaying a layout image of a picture defining section in a picture display unit, correcting the display by inputting of interactive system observing the display, and correcting the source program automatically. CONSTITUTION:A source program 7 is converted to intermediate codes by a program analyzing means 8. When executing, an image displaying means 10 displays a layout image of a picture defining section or a document defining section of the display picture of a picture display unit 5. An operator changes the intermediate codes observing the display. The changed image is displayed in the display picture, and this changing operation is repeated until judgement becomes OK. Thus, the intermediate codes changed by a file forming means 12 of the intermediate codes are stored as intermediate codes 9 and converted to a source program 14 by a source program forming means 13.
