PURPOSE:To improve combustion in a combustion chamber ot reformer and to keep differential pressure between cell electrodes in a good condition by controlling differential pressure between cell electrodes so that adverse effect on combustion in a combustion chamber of fuel reformer is avoided. CONSTITUTION:A fuel electrode supply flow rate control valve 13 is controlled by the sum of a fuel electrode supply flow rate setting value (n)related to cell current (a) and a correction signal (m) and the difference between the value (n) and a detector 16. An air electrode supply flow rate control valve 12 is controlled by the sum of an air electrode supply flow rate setting value (b') related to cell current (a) and a correction signal (i') obtained from pressure deviation between cell electrodes and the difference between the value (b') and a detector 15. A control valve 22 is controlled by the difference between a flow rate ratio (v) obtained with a computing element 18 from detectors 23, 24 of a reformer 1 and cell current (a) and the sum of the flow rate ratio (v) and an additional air flow rate setting value (y), and an additional air flow rate (beta) is controlled. Since an air excess rate in a combustion chamber of the reformer 1 is adequately kept, combustion is kept steady and reliability of a system is improved. |
