PURPOSE:To perform the centering of a tool easily and precisely and improve the processing size precision by detecting the displacement quantity between the tool axis and the reference point of a processing table and making the reference point of the table to coincide with the tool axis. CONSTITUTION:In case a tool 1 is fitted eccentrically with the axis of a horn 2, when the axis of the tool 1 is adjusted so as to be vertical to a processing table 5 by the oscillating mechanism of a processing head 4, an off-center quantity 12 is generated between a reference point and the axis of the tool 1. When a table 5 is shifted by a predetermined size 11 and the tool tip is photographed by a television camera, the center 9 of a tool monitor image 8 is displaced from the processing reference point 10 of the processing table 5. The table 5 is shifted so that they coincides, the off-center quantity is read and calculated by the scale of the table 5, thus the centering of the tool can be performed easily and precisely by shifting the table 5 in advance by the off-center quantity 23. |
