A driving roller arrangement has at least two driving rollers (21) which are arranged on both sides on the billet guide path (2 to 7) and at least one of which is drivable by means of a rotary drive (30) and at least one can be thrown on against the opposite driving roller by means of a throwing-on mechanism (29). In order to be able to draw out billets with different cross-sectional shape and/or different cross-sectional size, at least one of the driving rollers (21) is formed by two or more roller bodies (32, 33) which are interconnected in a rotationally fixed manner and which in each case have profiles adapted to different billet cross-sectional shapes and/or billet cross-sectional sizes, and this driving roller can be displaced by means of an adjusting arrangement (12) in the axial direction into different positions (A, B), in each case a roller body being displaceable out of a rest position (B) adjacent to the billet guide path (2 to 7) into a working position (A) lying on the billet guide path and vice versa (Fig. 1). <IMAGE>
