Methods are used for the quality control of solid or semi solid samples with a solvent extraction, in which, with a fat extraction, the sample is boiled in a solvent, washed and the solvent is then recovered. 1. An extraction unit comprises a vessel for receiving the solvent and the filter basket for the sample, the vessel being heated with an explosion-proof heating plate. 2. A central piece with a hand valve and a device for siphoning the samples or a siphon device for the solvent. 3. A water cooler is mounted on the central piece, which water cooler condenses the solvent vapours arising and returns the condensate via the central piece to the sample vessel. A construction underlies the concept of the patent application which automates the solvent rapid extraction, without mechanical movements (siphoning of the sample), control of hand valves or siphons being necessary in the extraction unit.
