PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of longitudinal push forming by providing a common plate on the top of an upper punch, a metal mold having plural number of die holes and each die hole being inserted separately with the upper punch and a lower punch. CONSTITUTION:Plural number of die holes 2 are provided in a metal mold 1, a lower punch 3 is separately inserted in the bottom of each die hole 2, magnetic powder 5 is filled on the lower punch 3 and an upper punch 4 is inserted in the hole. A common plate 6 which has recessions 9 conforming to the upper punches is mounted on each upper punch 4 and a percussion from above by a hammer 7 is applied to the upper punch via the plate. Since the metal mold has plural number of die holes, plural number can be formed at one time and the productivity can extremely be improved. Since the upper punch does not accept the percussion of the hammer directly, the insersion in the die hole is not damaged and only the plate 6 may be replaced if the plate 6 is greatly deformed.
