PURPOSE:To input a character string appearing often in one sentence in a one touch operation, by providing a character string temporary storing means that stores an optional character string corresponding to a specific key on a keyboard. CONSTITUTION:It is assumed that a character string 'information engineering seminar' in display on a display part A is registered temporarily at the forefront of the character string requested to store temporarily. A cursor is placed at the forefront of the character string requested to store temporarily, and a double circled key at a function key input control part 2, and a key W1 are depressed simultaneously. By moving the cursor to the end of the character string keeping both keys depressed, the character string is stored at a memory W1 corresponding to the key W1 within a memory 3. The character string stored at the memory 3 can be inputted only by depressing the key W1 when the character string is requested to input at the next time.
