PURPOSE:To prevent a dust from scattering, by providing level switches before and after a chute part to detect a level of piled loads and constituting a device such that it controls the chute part to be lifted deciding its lift to be necessary or not, in case of the captioned device for conveying coal or the like. CONSTITUTION:A transport material 13, conveyed by a belt conveyer 1, is piled on the ground through a chute part 9. And a predetermined number of times of this piling action is repeated. Next, a level switch 16 or 17 detects a level value of the piled material 13, and a device, which calculates a relation between a position of the chute part 9 and height of the piled material 13, decides the chute part 9 to be lower than a fixed value or not. The chute part 9, when it is low positioned, is lifted. Next, the belt conveyer 1 is driven running to the next position. By this constitution, the belt conveyer can be moved in the minimum distance, and a dust can be suppressed from scattering.
