PURPOSE:The titled molded article useful as vibration-damping materials, etc., having improved vibration-damping performance and strength characteristics in a wide temperature range and improved moldability, obtained by dispersing a viscoelastic high polymer substance having mechanical dissipation factor of >= a specific value into a thermoplastic resin. CONSTITUTION:(A) A viscoelastic high polymer substance (e.g. one consisting of viscoelasticity imparting resin and thermoplastic elastomer) having >=0.15 mechanical dissipation factor tangamma and 1.0-10<6>dyn/cm<2> storage elastic modulus in >=50 deg.C continuous temperature range is dispersed into (B) a thermoplastic resin (e.g. crystalline thermoplastic resin such as polyamide, etc.) to give the aimed molded article having improved noise reducing effect and improved durability. USE:Automobile engine peripheral parts such as cylinder head cover, timing belt cover, gear cover, oil pan, etc. |
