PURPOSE:To thinly and uniformly form a pulverized ferromagnetic powder layer on a base by sticking the electrostatically charged pulverized ferromagnetic powder in a dispersion to the surface of the base electrostatically charged to the polarity reverse from the polarity thereof, then removing the excessively stuck pulverized powder therefrom. CONSTITUTION:The dispersion of the electrostatically charged pulverized ferromagnetic powder (e.g.: Ba-Fe2O3 having <=0.5mum grain size) is brought into contact with the surface of the nonmagnetic base (e.g.: Al disk) charged to the polarity reverse from the polarity thereof to stick the pulverized powder to the surface of the base. The pulverized powder excessively sticking onto the base is removed by bringing, for example, gaseous or liquid flow or moving solid into contact with the surface of the base. A resin layer is thereafter formed on the surface stuck with the pulverized powder and is cured. The thin and uniform pulverized ferromagnetic powder is easily formed on the base with good accuracy according to the above-mentioned method.
