In order to improve a device for the screwless connection of cable channels which abut against one another in a flush manner and have an essentially U-shaped profile, consisting of lugs which are directed along the cable channels, bridge over the channel butt joint, are in each case supported by means of their longitudinal edges on the one hand in the free edge region of the flanges and on the other hand on the bases of the channels, as well as being secured in a positively-locking manner on the insides of the flanges, in such a manner that manufacturing and installation (assembly) simplifications can be achieved, it is proposed that the lugs (3) of each connection be secured in their required position by means of a strip (6) which is directed transversely with respect to the longitudinal extent of the cable channels (1), rests on the channel bases (5), bridges over the channel butt joint and engages on the lugs in a positively-locking manner. <IMAGE>
