REGISTERING METHOD FOR PLURAL PAGES OF INFORMATION FILE DEVICE

PURPOSE:To register plural pages of a single piece of file information by reading the information on the memory position of each page out of the 1st area of a retrieval information memory device according to the retrieval information, then reading each page out of a file information memory medium based on said information on the page memory position. CONSTITUTION:An operator supplies through a keyboard 5 a fact that the picture information which specifies the file information means the 1st page of said file information. Then a system control circuit 6 transfers the picture information stored in a picture memory 2 to a CODEC circuit 7 for compressed coding process and supplies this processed picture information to an optical disk device 9 to store in an optical disk as the 1st page of the file information. here the information on the memory position of the picture information in the optical disk is fed to the circuit 6 from the device 9. Thus the circuit 6 stores the received position information in an optical disk information area M5 of a retrieval information file 10.
