PURPOSE:To obtain a good, inexpensive, granular fuel and to contribute it to resources saving, by blending fine powder-containing coal with fine powder coke to give a mixture, adding a small amount of a hydraulic binder to the mixture, granulating and aging the resultant material. CONSTITUTION:(A) 100pts.wt. fine powder coke preferably containing >=50wt% part having <=0.25mm particle diameter is blended with (B) 10-70pts.wt. coal containing >=70wt% part having <=5mm particle diameter to give a mixture, which is mixed with <=3wt% hydraulic binder such s cement, granulated fine powder of blast furnace, etc., granulated and aged to give the aimed granular fuel.
