发明名称 ENGINE IDLING CONTROL DEVICE
摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent engine stall, by further retarding an ignition timing keeping an idle r.p.m. to increase the rising rate of axial torque when an automobile starts. CONSTITUTION:A correction means 26 is not in operation in an idle operation excluding automobile start and an ignition timing is retarded to a region including balancing point including a fuel consumption property and the toughness of an engine 1 by a retard control means 25. When an automobile shifts to start from this condition, a neutral switch 21 opens a turn on an electric power supply circuit for switching a three-way valve 16 to an air intake passage and returning an on-off valve to open. With this operation, an advance unit 12b of an automatic timing control mechanism 12 is opened to the atmosphere at the upstream side of a throttle valve 8 to correct an ignition timing to a retard side by the amount opened to the atmosphere as compared with idle operation for increasing the toughness of the engine 1. In addition, a bypass passage 17 is opened for increasing the quantity of intake air to compensate a decline of an engine r.p.m. caused by the correction for retarding the ignition timing.
