Apparatus for making use of data stored in a temporary memory 8. A microprocessor 2, a programme memory 3, a working memory 4, a buffer memory 5 and a parallel output 11 for transmission to a printer 12 are linked by a bus 9. An interface 7 accommodates the temporary memory. A parallel-series transformer 13 and an electronic changeover switch 14 provide the link either to a microcomputer 17, or to a console 18 capable of being linked to a server 19. <IMAGE>
