PURPOSE:To provide a high quality recording even onto a recording paper having low smoothness by lapping a face coated with microcapsules containing ink over a recording paper, then heating the recording paper through a heating means and rupturing the microcapsules. CONSTITUTION:A coated face of a microcapsule layer 2 is lapped over a recording paper 3, then a film base 1 is heated through a heating means such as a thermal head 4. Since thermal energy is applied onto the microcapsule layer 2, ink contained in the microcapsule M is inflated. When the inner pressure exceeds a threshold, the microcapsule M is ruptured thereby the ink is delivered by the inner pressure and adhered to the recording paper 3. When employing such ink as having relatively low viscosity and high fluidity, sufficient volume of ink can be transferred reliably with relatively low pressing force even onto such recording paper 3 as having low smoothness. |
