The invention relates to a device for pressing comminuted waste substances, which may be mixed. Two lateral pressing chutes which can be loaded by means of hoppers and metering devices are synchronously supplied with comminuted waste substances, the material to be pressed is precompacted by means of rams and pressed into pressing channels. Then the precompacted material is synchronously pressed by further rams through outlet nozzles which are provided on the pressing channels.
