摘要 PURPOSE:To variably control a supercharger in its stable ability with no influence by accuracy of a bypass valve, by providing a bypass hole to be opened a predetermined position of pressurized space in a housing of the supercharger. CONSTITUTION:When an engine 5 is placed in a high loaded condition, a diaphragm chamber 24 in bypass valve 20 communicates with an intake passage 1 by urging a solenoid selector valve 30, and a negative pressure in the downstream of a throttle valve 6 is introduced into the diaphragm chamber 24. A bypass passage 16 is opened by opening a valve unit 21. Air, introduced into pressurized space 14, is recirculated from a bypass hole 11a to the intake passage 1 through the bypass passage 16 while a Root's gear 12 rotates 90 deg. till is passes through the bypass gear 12 moves beyond the bypass hole 11a, pressurizing action is performed by extruding the air only in the direction of a delivery port 10b. The volume of pressurized space 15 fully contributes to the pressurization.
