The actuating handle is made up of at least two shell parts which complement one another to form the handle shape and are joined to one another via an intermediate ring arrangement between them. One of the shell parts possesses a boss which extends away from the shell inside approximately at right angles to the plane spanned by the intermediate ring and has a recess opening at the shell outside for fastening the actuating handle to the end of an actuating lever. With respect to the axis of the aforementioned boss, the shell parts are preferably rotationally symmetrical in design or designed as ball hemispheres. The intermediate ring connecting the shell parts together may be provided with a stiffening radial flange. The connection of the shell parts to the intermediate ring may be performed by detent contours which are integrally moulded on the shell parts and, in the detent position, engage positively, at least in sections, behind a detent contour in each case, which is provided with an approximately complementary counter-contour, of the intermediate ring.
