PURPOSE:To attain the miniaturization and to increase the no load Q by using any three faces of upper/lower/inner/outer faces of a cylindrical dielectric as grounding conductors and using the remaining face as a resonance line conductor. CONSTITUTION:A metallized ground conductor 402 and a resonance line conductor 403 are provided respectively to the outer and inner faces of the cylindrical dielectric 401. The resonance line conductor 403 forms a loop and the resonator of one wavelength in the mode close to the TEM mode is formed along the circumferential direction. The resonance frequency and the no load Q are controlled by varying the thickness of the cylinder or the height. The resonator is miniaturized by providing a gap 404 to the resonance line. Further, the length of the resonator is designed shorter than a 1/2 wavelength by providing a capacitive element 405 to the gap 404. The inner/outer circumferential faces of the cylindrical dielectric and an electromagnetic wave close to the TEM mode in the circumferential direction is caused to miniaturize the resonator very much.
