An agitator ball mill has a stator (11) which is attached at the end side to a housing and a rotor (12) which is arranged therein and is rotationally mounted at one end side on a housing via a spindle (14) which is connected to the said rotor so as to be fixed in terms of rotation, and via a bearing arrangement. A radial bearing (19), a single sliding ring seal (20) which forms the sliding ring seal arrangement and the separating gap (15) are provided on the spindle (14) axially directly behind one another in the direction of the rotor (12). The spindle is rigid at least in the region of these three components (15, 19, 20) and in particular constructed in one piece. <IMAGE>
