PURPOSE:To obtain a food additive having infection preventive activity against pathogenic germs, by using a sialic acid compound as an active ingredient. CONSTITUTION:A sialic acid compound, e.g. N-acetylneuraminic acid, N- acetylneuraminic acid-linked oligosaccharide, ganglioside, etc., as an active ingredient is added to a food to give >=5mg intake a day. |
