PURPOSE:To obtain toner having short rising time for electrification and superior stability for the influence of environment, and stability for the lapse of time by using a specified salt consisting of tetraphenyl boron anion or anion of its deriv., and metallic cation as a controlling agent for electrification, and an org. colorant as coloring component. CONSTITUTION:An org. colorant and and electrification controlling agent contain a compd. expressed by the formula. In the formula, R is selected from H atom, halogen atom, arylalkyl group, and aryl group, etc. On one hand, metal cation M is selected from alkali metal cations, alkaline earth metal cations, transition metal cations, etc., and polyvalent metal cations. The electrification controlling agent is colorless or single color, influencing not at all on the color characteristics of the toner compsn. being solid at ordinary temp., and most of them is thermally stable. There is not fear for impairing the controllability for electrification due to decomposition during prepn., nor impairing the preservability and stability for aging due to melting at low temp. |
