PURPOSE: To obtain an oscillation gyro having a supporting structure strong against external impact and absorbing oscillation effectively. CONSTITUTION: The oscillation gyro 10 comprises an oscillator 12 comprising a regular prism oscillator 14. The oscillator 14 is provided, substantially in the center of three side faces thereof, with piezoelectric elements 16a, 16b and 16c. Supporting members 18, 20 are disposed surrounding two nodes of the oscillator 12 and hold the oscillator 14 between a ridge of the regular prism oscillator 14 in the vicinity of a node thereof and the substantially central part of the bottom face thereof. The supporting members 18, 20 are held by fixing boards 22, 24 at the positions on a line passing the center of gravity of a cross-section in the vicinity of the node of the oscillator 12 and extending normally to the direction of bending oscillation thereof. |
