PURPOSE:A thermoplastic polymer is melt-extruded through nozzles in which hollow nozzles are connected through slits, rapidly cooled with cold air on its one side, drawn, heat-treated under relaxation to produce the titled hollow fiber of high bulkiness, heat insulation and flexibility with anistropic cross section. CONSTITUTION:In the production of fibers including at least 4 hollow parts by melt-extrusion of a thermoplastic polymer (E1-4), the polymer is extruded through a nozzle in which hollow parts E2-4 are separately connected to the hollow part E1 through slits (S1-11). Then, the yarn is rapidly cooled by blowing cold air almost rectangularly to the running direction of the yarn, drawn aand heat-treated under relaxation to produce the objective fibers which have one or more almost round hollow parts in cross section and has a hollow part E1 directly contacting through slits with other hollow parts E2-4 and is crimped.
