PURPOSE:To control a machine to be controlled by interactively selecting a display screen with a key operation, generating any screens, and interactively inputting numerical control information. CONSTITUTION:A processing part 15 decodes a key input signal, and when the signal is of display instructions, said part 15 gives display instructions to a display data generation part 6. When the decoded signal is of a display information generation instructions, said instructions are given to a display information generation part 8 and display instructions to the display data generation part 6. When the display information is indicated, it is given to the display information generation part 8, and stored in a memory 17, and the processing part 15 gives the display instructions to the display data generation part 6. When numerical control information generation is indicated, it is given to a numerical control information generation part 9, and display instructions are given to the display data generation part 6. The numerical control information generation part 9 generates numerical control information from code data given from the processing part 15, and stores it in a memory 10, the display information in a memory 17.
