PURPOSE:To prevent winding slippage, wrinkles or the like, by ejecting pressuring air of a high temperature from the outside of a band-shaped material. CONSTITUTION:An air eject chamber 10 disposed at the outside of a band-shaped material to be wound by a mill roll 1 is so constructed that it ejects air with pressure uniform in a width direction. The air eject chamber 10 is heated by a heat exchanger 20 from the outside of the band-shaped material and ejects pressurized air regulated by an eject air pressure regulating valve 12. As a result, winding slippage, wrinkles, recesses projections, and scratches on the surface of the band-shaped material can be prevented.
