<p>PURPOSE:To attain effectively stable correction by correcting the variance in luminous quantity of a LED array except a few LED elements having different luminous quantity characteristics. CONSTITUTION:A terminal 1 receiving a picture signal, a correction ROM 2 storing correction data in advance, a correction circuit 3 receiving a picture signal fromt the terminal 1 and correction data from the correction ROM 2, a drive circuit 4 controlling power inputted from a terminal 6 based on an output signal of the correction circuit 3 and a LED array 5 to which a current is applied based on the signal from the drive circuit 4 are provided and an optional LED element is emitted for an optional time by a picture signal. In this case, a current is applied for a long time to the LED element having less light emission and a current is applied for a short time to the LED element having much light emission by means of correction information thereby correcting the variance of the luminous quantity of the LED array while the light emitting quantity of each LED element is made nearly equal to each other.</p> |
