The invention relates to compounds of formula
<Chemistry id="chema01" num="0001"><Image id="ia01" he="23" wi="96" file="IMGA0001.TIF" imgContent="chem" imgFormat="TIFF" inline="no" /></Chemistry>or a salt thereof, wherein =X- is =CH- or =N-, R and R<Sup>1</Sup> independently represent hydrogen, halogen or lower alkoxy and R<Sup>2</Sup> is hydrogen or a substituent selected from halogen, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy or halolower alkyl which compounds exhibit psychotropic activity and are useful as anti-depressants.
