摘要 PURPOSE:To enable measurement of the specified point of a sectional shape, by storing a distance measured by a distance measuring means scanning along a periphery of a specimen with polar co-ordinate data and transforming it into the Cartesian co-ordinate system. CONSTITUTION:A laser distance measuring equipment 1 is mounted on a periphery of a rotating base 9. The base 9 rotates with a step of 1 deg. by a step motor through gear members 9a, 6a. When the equipment 1 measures a distance from a point on the periphery to a specimen 2, the distance from the center O of a scanning circle to the surface of the specimen 2 is determined by calculation. These relations are expressed as Polar co-ordinate data. Next, for designation of a plurality of measuring points of the specimen is provided as specified angular values from the center O. And, the maximum value points a-c of each X-axis of the specified Cartesian co-ordinate data are detected. Next, each distance between these points a-c is issued as an output by X-axis and -axis component of the Cartesian co-ordinate system. After, judgement is given whether these length are within the allowable value and, if the answer is on the negative side, marking is given with a paint injecting nozzle 4 for indication.
