CONSTITUTION:An elastic body 14 connects an inner cylinder 11 with an outer cylinder 12 and liquid having the coefficient of kinematic viscosity is sealed in a chamber 15 disposed between the inner and outer cylinders. A partition wall 17 is disposed in the outer cylinder 12 and when the inner cylinder 11 is vibrated in an axial direction, an elastic body 14 is deformed to vibrate only the inner cylinder 11. At the time, when the partition wall 17 is fixed to the inner cylinder 11 only or to the inner and outer cylinders 11, 12, the partition wall 17 will be vibrated together with the inner cylinder 11. High frequency vibration in the vibration preventing device is absorbed effectively by the vibration of a valve member 18 caused by a relative displacement of the inner and outer cylinders 11, 12 in an axial direction and low frequency vibration is damped by a flow of the liquid into a throttle passage 19 after the valve member 18 has reached a sliding root portion. |
