Elastic sealing (1) for the edges (22) of a metal plate (20), in particular in motor vehicles, comprising adhesive flanges (3, 4) disposed one on each side of the metal plate (20) and a hollow chamber area (21) arching over the edge (22), characterised in that the sealing profile (1) is a flat, extruded strip which can be rolled, and comprises an arched central area (2) with horizontally adjoining flanges (3, 4) disposed one on each side, each coated with a double-sided adhesive strip (5, 6), and has set breaks (10, 11) on the inner face of the arched area (2), and, with the aid of robots, can be folded via a mandrel and rolled on to the edge (22) to be protected. |
