PURPOSE:To maintain winding tension constant with low current consumption without controlling the voltage of a reel motor by changing over the number of revolutions of a reel table by using a planetary gear and a braking means. CONSTITUTION:A sun gear 24 and a brake drum 26 are fixed to a main shaft 22, and a reel disc 30 and a reel table 28 are supported freely rotataly. A planetary gear 34 is provided via a planetary shaft 32 to the disc 30, and a brake ring 40 which is internally toothed is meshed with the gear 36 thereof. The internal gear of the table 28 meshes with a pinion 38. With this constitution, the brake is applied to the ring 40 at the recording and reproducing, and said brake is disengaged at the fast forwarding and the brake is applied to the drum 26. It is possible to change the number of revolutions of the table 28 by stopping the revolution of the ring 40 or the drum 26. Also, it is possible to control tension by suitably setting the press-contact force of the brake 42. |
