PURPOSE:To enhance the separation effect of a revolving type separator, by vertically arranging a collision type gas-water separation plate with respect to a fluid direction in the upstream side of the revolving blade of a separator revolving a fluid to perform gas-water separation by centrifugal force. CONSTITUTION:A barrier plate 30 is welded to the side surface of the conical screen 5 arranged outside a partition wall member 4 at the part of the inlet side 7 of said screen 5 so as to leave a slight gap 32 below said screen 5 and several projections 31 are provided to the barrier plate 30 in the vertical direction thereof. Minute water droplets flowing in from the inlet side 7 impinge against barrier plate 30 to be separated and water droplets flowing to both sides while changing a flow direction impinging against the projections 31 to be further separated. Grown water droplets flow to the revolving blade 10 through the gap 32 and revolved to be separated.
