PURPOSE:To enhance antistatic characteristics and to prevent a static mark by using a photographic sensitive material containing at least one of conductive inorganic oxides, and at least one of specified salts. CONSTITUTION:The photographic sensitive material provided with at least one layer containing a photosensitive silver halide emulsion on a support contains at least one of the conductive inorganic oxides and at least one of the salts represented by formula I-IV in which M is an alkali metal, alkaline earth metal, or ammonium; l is 1 when M is an alkali metal or ammonium, and it is 2 when M is an alkaline earth metal; and each of n and m is positive integer satisfying the following relationship: m=2n+p, p=1, -1 or -3. Said salt may be added along or in combination of 2 or more, and it is added, preferably, in an amount of 1-1,000mg, especially, 10-500mg/m<2> of the photographic sensitive material in an amount of 2-400wt%, preferably, 5-300wt% of the binder. As the conductive inorganic oxide, at least one kind of crystalline metal oxide selected from ZnO, TiO2, SnO2, Al2O3, and the like, and a combination of them containing a small amount of the other kind of element are enumerated, and it has an average particle diameter of 0.05-0.5mum. |
