PURPOSE:To confirm a request for the restransmission of a transmission original and to set a transmission area without a need for an identification mark by setting the said area of the said original by a selecting means, and judging the arrival of the request signal for the retransmission of the area-set transmission original. CONSTITUTION:Only information in the prescribed area of a transmission signal is transmitted to a reception side as a picture information signal, by using an original transmission selection means comprising a transmission part, a means which transmitts picture information setting by switches (n/4SW) after prescribed blanch and the above-mentioned means, and switches SW. The picture information signal is recorded as a transmission picture signal by a shift register which is a means in a reception part that receives the said area-set picture information and records it. In case the said information is not in a favorable state, a request for the retransmission of the said information is made by means of a retransmission requesting switch from the reception-side to the transmission- side the reception of the said information is complete. On the transmission-side, the retransmission-request is confirmed by a retransmission-request discriminating means LED.
