PURPOSE:To generate an optional waveform by injecting an electric charge to the 1st cell of teach stage from a charge injection electrode and using a clock to transfer the said electric charge to the next cell at each stage sequentially. CONSTITUTION:The electric charge injected to the cell of a gate electrode G1 of each stage is transferred to the cell of the adjacent gate electrode sequentially by applying the clock to clock input terminals phi1-phi3 and the electric charge discharged from the gate electrode G3 being the last gate electrode of the stage SG1. Thus, the state of the cell of an output gate electrode GO changes in time series in response to the output of electric injection power supplies V1-V5. The electric charge of the cell of the output gate electrode GO is extracted from the output terminal as a generated waveform. Thus, an optional waveform is obtained as an output by changing the voltage of the charge injection power supplies V1-V5 optionally.
