PURPOSE:To achieve a higher esthetic value as a part of interior setting, by placing a timepiece body detachably on an open upper end rim of a cup-shaped container. CONSTITUTION:A timepiece body 1 is placed on an open upper end rim of a cup-shaped container 2 by fitting into the rim a circular projection 12 formed at the other end of the body 1. This object looks like an cup as a whole and hence, a higher value is obtained as interior object, for example, by placing on a dinning table or the like. When the body 1 is placed tight on the container 2, an alarm sound transmits outside through a notch 13 thereby minimizing the sound volume. When the body 1 is placed normally on the open upper end rim of the container 2, the alarm sound resonates in a space within the container thereby permitting an increase in the sound volume. |
