<p>PURPOSE:To make the rear wheel steering angle ratio to the front wheel steering angle variable in a simple structure, by setting adequately the angle and phase of a cross joint at the front and the rear of a linkage shaft to link a rotation pickup (output) shaft and a rotation input shaft which are furnished at the steering devices of the front wheels and the rear wheels respectively. CONSTITUTION:At a front side steering gear box 3, a pinion shaft 8 to gear with a rack shaft 4 is incorporated, and to the pinion shaft 8, a linkage shaft 10 is connected through a cross joint 9. furthermore, a rotation input shaft 12 is linked to the linkage shaft 10 through another cross joint 11. In such a composition, by setting the angle and the phase of both cross joints 9 and 11 in various conditions, the rotation of uneven speed can be delivered from the rotation pickup shaft 8 to the rotation input shaft 12. For instance, where the angles of both cross joints 9 and 11 are alpha and beta, and alphanot equal to beta, at least one side is set out of the scope 12-18 deg., or the phase is set other than 90 deg..</p> |
