PURPOSE:To easily detect the state of a flow from the pattern of a visualizing material on a tape by dripping the visualizing material for the flow in a spot on the surface of the tape which has an adhesive layer on the reverse surface, and peeling off the tape after operation. CONSTITUTION:The visualizing material 3 is dripped on a coating layer 2 on the adhesive tape 1 in a spot. Then, the tape 1 is cut to proper size and stuck on a part where the flow needs to be visualized; and then an operation body is operated to form the flow pattern. The tape 1 is peeled off after the operation and the formed flow pattern is analyzed by various means to easily detect data on the flow velocity, flow direction, etc.
