PURPOSE:To reduce production of COX and Co, to stabilize combustion and save a power, and to improve durability, by a method wherein a combustion device comprises a plurality of hollow heat dissipating bodies, placed in the vicinity of a primary combustion flame, and a fan, feeding air to the hollow part of the heat dissipating body. CONSTITUTION:With an electric heater 2 of an evaporating body 1 energized, the evaporating body 1 preheated to 250-300 deg.C, and a blower 9 and a pump 11 energized, liquid fuel and primary combustion air are fed in the evaporating body 1 to produce air-fuel premixture. The premixture enters a space between an inner cylinder 13 and a cap 16 through a mixing plate 3, and is injected outwardly through pores 14 and the meshes of a wire-netting 15, where the premixture is ignited for combustion. The air, entering a branch pipe 20 and a gap 19 through a blast pipe 8, is injected upward after it flows through the hollow part of each of a heat dissipating bodies 17, and a part thereof is fed in a combustion cylinder 21. In this case, a drak blue primary combustion flame 6 is formed in the vicinity of the outer surface of the wire-netting 15 and the heat dissipating body 17 located thereto. The air therearound is drawn in the back flow of the primary combustion flame to form a secondary combustion flame 7, and complete combustion takes place at the terminal part of the secondary combustion flame.
