PURPOSE:To curtail the cost of construction work by a method in which two sets of four connecting rails between branched tracks are divided into three mobile bases, the inside mobile base is made movable in a rocking manner by pivotally supporting one end of the branched point side, and outside two mobile bases are pivotally supported on the outside track. CONSTITUTION:A point switch movement S capable of continuously switching a track I to branched tracks II and III is provided, and the mobile part of the switcher S is divided into three sections. Connecting rails 104 and 105a are fixed to outside two mobile bases 106 and 106a, and connecting rails 104a and 105 are connected to the inside mobile base 107. The base 107 is pivotally supported in a rocking manner by the shaft 0 on the branched side, and outside mobile bases 106 and 106a are pivotally supported in a rocking manner by the joints P and Q of the beam. The outside mobile bases 106 and 106a are moved in a rocking manner within a small range not to interfere the movement of the inside mobile base 107. Necessary site area can thus be minimized and the switching time can be shortened.
