PURPOSE:To directly connect a Japanese printer to a host computer without passing through a terminal equipment by providing a form overlay load request detection means and a form overlay load means. CONSTITUTION:The Japanese printer form overlay (hereafter FO) is formed in such a way that an FO generation part 12 and an FO memory part 13 convert the source format of a file in the 1st bulk external storage device 11 into an object one, and stored on the file of the 2nd bulk external storage device 14. Then a data output program 15 is executed. If an FO request is made at the time of outputting data to the Japanese printer 16, it requests the FO request for a host system. An FO load part 18 reads the FO object reported from an FO load request detection part 17 out of the file of the device 14, and loads the object to the printer 16. It prints by overlapping with the data outputted by the program 15.
