PURPOSE:To combine a vibration isolating effect with a damping effect, by installing a laminated rubber of low damping and a laminated rubber of high damping in parallel. CONSTITUTION:A high damping and vibration isolating rubber 4 is made of the laminations of high hysteresis rubber plates 11 and hard plates 12, and a low damping and vibration isolating rubber 5 is made of the laminations of low hysteresis rubber plates 13 and hard plates 14. The proportion of the parallel installation of these two kinds of vibration isolating rubbers and the lamination ratios of the hard plates 12, 14 and the rubber plates 11, 13 are determined by adding the considerations of spring constants, damping effects, creeping abilities and the like to a desired vibration isolating ability. The above- mentioned high damping and vibration isolating rubber and the above-mentioned low damping and vibration isolating rubber are provided in parallel, so that a vibration isolating effect and a damping effect can be combined, shocks can be absorbed even if a big earthquake is brought about, and collisions with other constructs and the breakdowns of water pipes and gas pipes can be obviated. |
